I had a good day today. The teacher still isn’t talking to me but at least I am making some head way with my KSL class. For the last week I have been trying to teach them SOV sentence structure. For those of you who don’t know it’s “ Subject, Object Verb” So an English sentence would be 'the boy played with the ball.' But in KSL its BOY BALL PLAY//. This has been a difficult concept for the students. So for the past week I have been making them write 10 sentences every day in SOV format. When I get the books back its BANANA MOTHER SISTER// or GIRL RUN JUMP// So its been tedious but today I had a breakthrough! About half of the students are writing perfect SOV sentences. So, I have assigned them to their classmates who aren't getting to help them. I guess I don’t totally fail as a teacher. After the class however, things started to go downhill. I have been fighting a cold and it just got worse as the day went on so I went home an slept, missing my PE and art class. But in the end I would still consider it a good day.
P.S. I think my cold has finally gotten to me. I actually forgot how old I was just now. I had to take out a calculator and do the math. This sucks. Im going to bed.
